The Gerrard family has a long history of living and working in the community. Nancy's father, a local businessman and developer, started Gerrard Realty in 1954.
Soon after Nancy started her career in real estate, she quickly rose to become the top agent at Gerrard Realty. In 1991, Nancy purchased Gerrard Realty from her father and merged with her partner, Jay Hoeschler, to form Gerrard-Hoeschler, REALTORS®.
Her dedication to real estate is unequaled and includes serving on numerous local and state industry boards including the industry's top regulatory body, the Wisconsin Real Estate Examining Board and Curriculum Committee.
Nancy's ties to the community do not end there. Her community involvement includes serving in various capacities for many local organizations such as HorseSense for Special Riders, the Children's Museum, Mississippi Valley Conservancy, and the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra to name a few. Nancy was a founding member of the nonprofit Shelter Development, and is most proud of their program The Exchange which provides furniture to those in need.
Nancy Gerrard is a life-long resident of La Crosse and has raised two daughters in the area. With generations of family that have lived and worked here, Nancy treasures all the area has to offer- whether that be on Lake Onalaska grilling at her cottage or riding her horses on Grandad's Bluff. Nancy's main hobby and passion is her horses-- she finds peace and enjoyment through riding and sharing her love of horses with others.
